The Mud Terrain Trophy tire is a super scale tire - it is perfectly sized to look great with many existing bodies like the Defender and Toyota. The 1:1 narrow tires were widely used in World War times and throughout the 1900s. Many modern trucks also use such narrow tires that you see (or saw) on the road on a daily basis. If you've been wanting to build a daily driver, these will probably be your new go-to tires.

All those little details on the tire, just like a real 1:1 tire with lots of tire information. We appreciate the scale details on tires which make them extra fun to look at.

You're probably asking, if these tires are narrower than normal sized 1.9 tires, wouldn't you need new beadlocks that are also narrower? The answer is simply no, normal beadlocks will fit (see photos).

The new Gekko Compound is a very soft and sticky rubber to help you gain traction. Check out this video of the compound.

The 1.9 Mud Terrain Trophy tire is the perfect tire for any new old RC builds. Retro project builders rejoice as these tires are made for you! Military trucks, factory truck builds and daily drivers for the many Defenders and Toyotas out there. You can even build hotrods with these tires. So you ask, why are these tires so scale? We've heard from many builders who told us "we want to build a truck like how they roll off the factory assembly line but don't have the right tires yet" and "we need to build Camel Trophy Defender trucks but don't have the right tires". The width of the new MTT tire is 24mm wide. Translating MTT to 1:1 truck scale this tire is 240mm, which is close to the width of how factory tires were when they rolled off the assembly line. Today with more powerful engines bigger tires became widely used, hence you don't see as many skinny tires today.
