The New Yokomo YD-2 EX Advance LCG Design

This new version Yokomo YD-2 EX has an even higher spec then the YD-2 Plus. The upgrades include aluminum front Bulkhead brace for more rigidity to the front of the chassis. The rigid 2.5mm carbon graphite chassis has had a little change and a mat finish to it. New redesigned front and rear aluminum shock tower have increase damper mounting holes for fine tuning adjustability to suit any kind of driving style. A RWD specialized high angle aluminum steering rack system to improve steering response and more precise steering feel.

In the gearbox it has an innovative design of 4-gear transmissions and the motor is installed in the horizontal position for better handling. Doing this helps prevents the left/right imbalance due to the torque of the motor. A horizontal motor position helps eliminate that unwanted torque twist. This helps gain that neutral steering characteristics for better performance. The rear traction will be increased on the throttle due to when you hit the throttle it creates downwards force. This allows it to gain more grip adding better acceleration forces and also adding extra stability while cornering. Gears are sealed in a high dust-proof case to keep the dirt out. In addition rear transmission gears are made from lightweight plastic bevel gear that contributes to improved throttle response and performance.

You are able to use long or short batteries for this chassis as it comes included with two different battery mounts. They have also added an aluminum gearbox brace with fan mounting holes. Also available as standard bundle now longer stroke rear suspension arms, this increasing the down-stroke amount to pull out more rear roll aggressively and enhances traction and more stability.

This is a kit version and so it will need to be assembled and the kit does not include Body, Wheels, Tires, ESC, Motor, Servo, batteries and other R/C electrics.
