Yokomo YR-10F - Race-Ready ETS Machine
As the formula 190mm rubber tire class of competitive racing has taken off in Europe, Yokomo have entered the F1 game with an ETS-ready chassis kit of their own. No, it's not a YF-10 variable fighter. It's the YR-10F, Yokomo's answer to the expanding field of F1 RC.
The front end features rigid CF upper and lower arms with a kingpin and coil spring suspension, adjustable to two tread width settings. As expected for cars of this type, the aluminum front bulkhead has been split to allow a floating servo mount and to increase chassis flex. Larger roll shocks ensure that traction is there when needed.
As a race-ready spec kit, it includes Ride XR tires and Mon-Tech spec wings (but not the accompanying Mon-Tech body - at least not yet).
With more and more companies gunning for the 1/10 formula crown and the increasing popularity of the Euro Touring Series competition, will this be the year XRAY gets dethroned?
