Chassis came fully assembled and only needed motor leads soldered on. Shock absorber off-set tubes do need adjusted to fit under the intended body (Also, one of the tubes was crushed in shipping. Still works, not a big deal). The battery tray is placed in a difficult to access location if the body is mounted properly, as the body is held to the frame with a series of screws. To change the battery would require removing the rear wheels, or all 8 screws from the body.
