PRODUCT INFORMATION:
The Serpent 750E Natrix is the latest Electric version of the 750. Electric racing has developed big time, the possible power is enormous. Especially in the popular dragster class in the US the power going through the transmission is extreme.
The 750E is designed to take care of that power and put it down as effectively as possible. The 750E is based on the ultra-successful 750 gas racer and shares it’s suspension, shocks, and quite a lot of other features like the chassis plate or the driveshafts
Overview of the main specs:
•Front bumper and body mount The new front bumper has an improved aerodynamic effect and excellent protection. A medium or small foam bumper pad scan still be fitted as optional.
The upper carbon fiber body plate mounts to the front bumper with alu post and secures the front body posts
•Chassis Symmetrical chassis plate optimized flex and torsion, in 7075 T6 aluminum, anodized and laser engraved. Chamfered edges for more ground clearance when cornering and countersunk holes.
•Low big bore shocks Coated threaded shock bodies in high-quality aluminum. Supersmooth x-ring / machined bushing package, to guide and seal the spring- steel piston rods. Precision machined pistons are included in 3 types.
Threaded pre-load shock nuts in alu with O-ring inside. Light but strong nylon spring-cups. Selected, matched, and paired shock absorber springs with color-coding.
•Shocktower front Superlow 3.0mm carbon fiber shock tower with 3 positions for upper shock mounting. In the center, you can mount the 3rd body post as needed.
•Steering blocks Very strong composite steering blocks with 2 Ackermann positions, L and R use the same. The steering blocks feature inserts, which allow changing the kingpin inclination to a leading or trailing position. The steering blocks also allow the use of the optional carbon fiber aero disks to be mounted for less flex and more direct steering feel.
•Uprights Durable medium type composite uprights, which seat the wheel-axles bearings. The upright offers the mounting position for the steel camber-rod with L/R threading. Roll center changes can be made on top of the upright with shims. The upright can be mounted with the optional carbon fiber aero disks for more rear grip and straight-line stability.
•Wheel axles and driveshaft The durable spring steel wheel axles combined with spring steel driveshafts bring the power to the wheels. Wheels are fitted on high grade anodized alu wheel-hex adaptors and secured with flanged wheel nuts.
•Pullies Precision molded super-true pullies, which feature holed sidewalls to let debris move out easier. Light and durable.
•Belts Low friction Kevlar reinforced belts with fine pitch. Longlasting and smooth.
•Belt-tensioner Ball raced belt-tensioner, machined from aluminum and can mount on top or below the topdeck.
•Decals The 750 includes one sheet with Serpent generic logos and one with 750 logos. Decals are very thin material and come pre-cut.
Features:
Power delivery starts with the batteries. We made room for serious power, 4S or 6S batteries. There is plenty of space for them. Still, they are very low in the car.
The batteries are mounted on a 2.5mm thick carbon plate.
There is also room for a 1-8 scale speedo, a very popular choice in the dragster racing scene
The topdeck is creating enough stiffness for the whole chassis and carries the receiver, steering-servo and belt tensioner.
We also took care of the motor, we made a mount for a 10th scale motor.
And also we made an optional mount to fit an 8th scale motor.
Even long custom made motors have enough room
To avoid unwanted torsional flex, we created a “power box” around the motor, making this part of the chassis very stiff.
To achieve this, the motor mounting plate is connected to the bearing-block of the spur gear shaft, to the chassis, and the topdeck
Power is then transmitted further with unbreakable, module 1 steel gears.
Further down we changed to a super-wide, 9mm rear belt. The power then goes through a solid rear axle, especially suited for dragster racing
For dragster lovers, we also offer a wheelie bar as an option.

The Racing Experience Serpent has been around for more than 30 years and it was founded by Berton BV, which is named the two founders, Pieter Bervoets and Ron Ton, which both were RC car racers. The pair built their first RC car in 1972, using a Kyosho Dash 1 chassis modified by themselves. In 1977, the duo started to develop their first car under the Serpent name in 1977 and in 1979, both Bervoets and Ton had won separate EFRA 1:8 titles with their Mk. III Pro.
Despite the broken road that Serpent has been on, they've got team drivers from Europe, US, and Asia, taking 9 world titles, and 37 European titles altogether, plus a number of nationals. Its line of products specializes mainly in 1/8 and 1/10 scale for buggies, touring, and pan cars.
It's Serpent's goal to create great products, which offer a truly great racing experience. Experience racing, race Serpent! All Serpent products are available at the largest online rc store.
