This radio sells itself. There is no competition when it comes price and features. The radio talks to you which makes it perfect for FPV applications when you have goggles on your head. The audible warnings will tell you how long you’ve been in the air and even tell you to land. It’s completely configurable to do anything that the high dollar radios can do and do it better. What I like most about the FrSky brand is that the receivers are cheap and yet work extremely well.

The Taranis X9D Plus features a high quality LCD display that is adjustable from blue to white and haptic vibration feedback, ergonomic case with 8 programmable switches, two twist knobs and lateral 'slider' pots, and ultra-smooth quad bearing gimbals.
The X9D Plus utilizes Voice Alerts from an internal speaker, removing the need to look down for warnings. Programmable alerts include audible countdown timers, low voltage warnings, landing gear down warnings and much more. The SD card slot and USB port offers unlimited memory options.
This transmitter offers full telemetry capability, as well as RSSI signal strength feedback. There are 3 different programmable failsafe modes and receiver lock, so no more crashes due to selecting the wrong model. The Taranis also has a JR style RF module slot, so you have the option of other brand modules such as the Orange DSM2/DSMX or Open LRS 433mhz module, or pop in another FrSky module to expand the transmitters capabilities even more with dual RF.
