  • This is Tamiya 1/10 Blitzer Beetle 2011 2WD Offroad Buggy EP Car Kit w/ Motor. This is a 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit of the Blitzer Beetle, which was inspired by the exciting off-road desert racer designs seen in the United States. The proven chassis is equipped with a 4-wheel double wishbone suspension, CVA shock units, and high-grip off-road tires to offer superb driving performance on rough terrain. The injection-molded body features metal-plated light covers and side mirror parts for greater realism. In addition, a driver figure, as well as a sticker sheet to depict the fiery splash-pattern livery, are also included.

    This tough, lightweight ABS bathtub chassis features a rear-mounted motor, and rear-wheel drive layout. The fully-enclosed gearbox protects against dirt and debris and is equipped with differential gears to offer smooth cornering. 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension is equipped with C.V.A. shock units and extremely durable monocoque-type lower arms. The front spiked tires feature three ribs for enhanced stability while the rear tires feature both spikes and an X-shaped tread pattern along the center to ensure high levels of grip.

In 1976, Tamiya entered the RC market with their first RC model, the Porsche 934 Turbo RSR. Now, having just passed the 30th Anniversary of the first Tamiya RC model, they are sold in markets both within the country and worldwide.

Tamiya America, Inc. sponsors the annual Tamiya/Con model contest and the Tamiya Championship Series races (TCS).
