Carisma Scale Adventure is proud to announce another new release for 2021, the 313mm wheelbase SCA-1E Ford F-150 in Black! Our original American classic has now evolved into a shorter 313mm, 2.1 Spec rig. We've kept all the original scale details, and the classic Ford F-150 Pickup look, painted it black, and have taken the overall Spec and Performance to a whole new level. Her shorter wheelbase adds to the rigs abilities when Crawling and makes this American workhorse even more desirable.

With our SCA1E Gen 2 layout as standard, the Ford F-150 including our CMS Mount, offering a Forward Weight Bias that combined with the shorter Wheelbase aids Rock Crawling. This places the battery pack and Steering Servo right upfront and over the front axle. We also addressed the issue of Torque Twist (something inherent in all shaft-driven rigs), as CSA has recently developed our new ATT (Anti Torque Twist Transmission) that counteracts and reduces the effects of Torque Twist.

This is done by ensuring the front and rear center driveline spin in opposite directions and flipping the rear diff. This creates a counter-rotational force in the central driveline that significantly reduces torque twist and enhances the available traction where you need it most...at the wheels. The rig runs flatter even at full throttle, and the geometry is more stable and predictable when Rock Crawling.

Alongside our LiPo friendly ARC-1 Electronic Speed Controller, we have also lowered the gear ratio in the transmission to 5.92:1 giving a smoother low RPM range and greater control. To complement this we have introduced a new Sealed Can 17T 5 Pole Motor, with the greater magnetic force over a 3-pole motor, thus offering enhanced Torque and Throttle Finesse.

The trusty Carisma CTX-8000 2.4GHz radio system is supplied with the RTR rig. Featuring Steering Rate adjustment, Steering and Throttle Trims, Channel Reversing, End Point Adjustment, and F.H.S.S (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) Technology for glitch-free use, eliminating cross channel interference and offering precise and responsive control at all times.  We also include a 1400mah NiMH battery and safe 5V USB Charger to get you started on your adventure, although the ARC-1 ESC is also LiPO friendly offering owners a clear future upgrade path.
