The Sakura D-3 is all about finding the PERFECT angel for the wheels to drift. The car can do very long slide along with big curves without a problem. The featured CS drifting angel lock makes it unbelievably stable when performing a drift.

What’s awesome on the Sakura D-3 is that the True Front Motor system distributes the weight all over the chassis of the car equally. It was also suggested that you would want a set of high quality wheels to reduce wheels vibration when drifting.



There are some parts that need upgrades to perform well for the Sakura D-3.

1. Pinion Gears

First of all, you would need a Pinion Gears for your D-3, since it doesn’t come with it. You may want to consider getting one when you purchase the D-3. Without the pinion gear to connect with the motor, you cannot even test drive your new car. Don’t even mention about being good looking and increase the performance of the car.

2. Aluminum C-Hubs & Aluminum Knuckles

Secondly, I do not know how many times I have to emphasize this, GO ALUMINUM. Why? Basically, it is WAY better than the plastic stock ones. Ok, if I have a decent amount of money, I would go all Aluminum for all the available options out there for all of my cars. I understand that we don’t always have the resource for it, but I would at least upgrade the C-Hubs and Knuckles. Let me explain you why, Aluminums C-Hubs are stronger and lighter than the plastic stock ones. Is it necessary to make it stronger? Yes, you will never know what your car would bump into. You do not want to break 2 C-hubs in one week. Upgrading to Aluminum ones actually saves you money. (Perhaps I am a bad driver?) You would also want to upgrade the Knuckles as well. The aluminum ones are gives the car longer durability and higher stability. It is also important to mention that the plastic stock knuckles aren’t as strong as you think. Upgrading it to aluminum might be a better choice.



3. Graphite Main Chassis & Shock Tower

Lastly, the Sakura D-3 is a beauty. You might want dress it like a model. Giving a Graphite Main Chassis and Graphite Shock Tower to your Sakura D-3 is the best gift ever to her. They are the BEST looking piece you can find on the market. It gives the D-3 extra stiffness for superior drifting on high speed as well as on high traction tracks. The Main Chassis has a flame look style cutting to stay away being too main stream. An upgraded shock tower is to support the shocks and provide better stability for the car.

There are some spare parts on the Sakura D-3 that are essential for driving and drifting. Make sure you get a set of spare Ball Bearings and Low Friction Belt for future use.
