Sakura D3 CS Sport is a drifter, which has decided that it will have more power going to the rear and sometimes the front as well. Theoretically, this will make it a lot closer to real 1:1 drifters. While the Zero S (short for Sakura Zero S) is equipped with a mid motor and has a 50/50 front/rear torque split. This makes it a much better choice for a green hand driver. The D3 has the counter steer drift gearing right in the kit. And you can buy an extra pulley that would make the D3 a 50/50 with a great price. Then you will have a 50/50 car with the option to do CS drifting as your skills grow. Plus, the balance on the D3 is better for drifting.
All in all, if you want a versatile drifter, choose D3. The Zero S would be the better choice if you wanted a car that would do both grip and drift.
