A great little toy car. My previous radio controlled toy car cost me $20 and this one Kyosho with shipping was around $200. I have never owned a professional toy car like that before. There is a huge difference between regular toy car and Kyosho Mini-z. Kyosho is much heavier, has fifty times more torque, and can push obstacles or other toy cars away, so powerful. It is also fast, if you put it on Normal Mode (read instruction manual). At that speed, regular toy car would flip over if you making the turn. But Kyosho has low gravity center because the batteries are packed flat on the bottom, and when you're making a Sharp Turn at Top Speed Kyosho will never flip over. Unlike regular toy car, Kyosho drives in a straight line. It's hard to describe, but regular toy cars get stuck on the carpet and sort of jerk around, bouncing; but Kyosho always listens to your controls and stays straight and tight to the track. Impressive, I love this professional toy car. Unfortunately, it does not look like a serious toy car with great detail, and looks about the same as the $20 toy car. It is only when you start pushing the suspension and wishbones around you realize why Kyosho is so expensive. A lot of scientific and engineering thought went into creating this amazing product, however, creators chose to make it look like a regular kid's cheap toy car. But maybe thats why Kyosho is only $200 and not a lot more. I also purchased Gyroscope at additional price $15. However, when I installed it, the gyroscope was very sensitive and counter intuitive. On highest setting (turn right 270 degrees) gyroscope puts your car right back from where you were turning! Which is very interesting thing to observe, gyroscope is really awesome, but, unfortunately, it is not made for this car. I guess because the car is too small or something. Or maybe it doesn't work on carpet. Overall, I am extremely pleased with purchase of this Work of Art small professional toy car, and experiencing the joy of pre-ordering something so special! Waiting for FedEx to arrive and bring my parcel :) very cool Kyosho - you are a great company and I am very proud customer of yours. God Bless and keep at it!

- Real racing buggy performance sits on the palm of your hand. The perfect first (or even second) R/C car!
Simply add eight AAA-size alkaline batteries to this Readyset and the MINI-Z Buggy brings the fun of R/C car action. The advanced compact design includes 4WD drive train with slipper clutch to protect the gear system, and 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with oil-filled shocks to deliver true racing buggy performance. Most critical components are protected within the high-rigidity dustproof chassis shell. 7-stage geared steering servo provides plenty of torque for precision steering response and combines with the control program to realize the MINI-Z’s signature linear handling and light feel. The circuit board also features manual left/right volume adjustment for the optional gyro unit (sold separately) that stabilizes straight line running and improves cornering control. The fully pre-assembled Readyset package makes it simple and enjoyable for anyone to experience advanced R/C buggy performance, whether it’s your first car or as fun-driving second car.
As the Readyset includes the Syncro KT-531P transmitter operating on FHSS 2.4GHz, it cannot be used with ASF/MHS/FHS 2.4GHz systems.

Kyosho is one of the oldest model rc car makers in Japan, it was created in October, 1963. Kyosho produces a wide variety of products, including radio-controlled cars, planes, helicopters, and boats. Kyosho has avoided direct competition against their biggest competitor, Tamiya, in the hobby grade RC cars market since the 1980s, where Tamiya was the most active brand, instead, Kyosho were focusing on designing professional 1/8 scale racing buggies, Mini-Z series, and RC helicopters; areas in which Kyosho dominates today. The company is best known for its 1/8 scale competition buggies, Mini-Z series, and RC helicopters, but it also produces remote-controlled bipedal robots in the Manoi series. All the upgrade of their cars are available here at the largest online RC store.
