- 1:18 Magnum by ROCHOBBY is an eye-catching scale remote-controlled truck, ideal for the trail or to display proudly at home. Unmistakably styled after the iconic American trucks of the late 1940s and early 50s, the Magnum is bound to appeal to fans of vintage cars.
A flawless Caribbean-turquoise paint job and electroplated details all around provide the Magnum with a cheerful and luxurious countenance, further accentuated by its curvy injection-molded hard body, an audacious chrome grille, and cleverly integrated turning signals. Other pleasing details are round headlights with low-beam and high-beam functions, real side-view mirrors, and a cargo bed with an openable tailgate. Inside, this car features a spacious and comfortable cab with a realistic dashboard and seats. A wide sill extends under the door, and a flat one-piece front windshield, coupled with a larger rear window, provides a clear view of the scaled interior.
With aluminum frame rails, high-torque, and grippy multi-terrain tires, the Magnum performs well as a light-purpose off-road vehicle. Included in the electronics is a welcome option to change gears for a smooth slow crawl over inclines. The Magnum adopts a four-link suspension and thrust bar design which efficiently and precisely conveys the steering action.
