After the car has been on the market for more than 2 years. HobbyPlus did receive and collect lots of ideas and suggestions from fans which can make it better.
HobbyPlus has collaborated with FURITEK to work on the new CR-18P to take it to the next level of performance. The New CR-18P will come with the performance-proven FURITEK Lizard ESC and Venom motor power plant package.

As HobbyPlus develops its philosophy, the new upgrades taking this platform including the best brushless system by Furitek will take CR-18P to the next level of excitement and performance without breaking the fan's wallets. The new CR-18P has also brought the Rushmore body into this category in the form of scale
The new CR-18P 2024 has upgraded cool features below:
- Upgraded new super soft 60mm Mudder M/T tire (same as FX118 KATANA)
- Upgraded HD main drive shaft (same as EVO PRO & FX118 KATANA)
- Using EVO transmission full metal gearbox (Single speed)
- Oil-filled big bore shocks (same as EVO PRO & FX118 KATANA)
- SOA (servo on axle)
- FURITEK Venom outrunner brushless motor + Furitek Lizard ESC
- New developed rear axle allowed counter rotation rear drive shaft (anti-torque twist)
- Full metal geared transmission (gearbox, front & rear axle)
- New design aluminum chassis with 5-degree angle motor mount
- New revised shocks and links geometry
- Overall height reduced by 5mm to keep the lower center gravity
The New CR-18P 2024 will use the brushless system by FURITEK. This new Lizard and Venom combo is more user-friendly with simple settings by setting-card. With this new setting card beginners can set the ESC more easily than the apps with the below cool features:
- Motor running direction
- Drag brake force
- Battery cut of voltage
- BEC output for servo
