[VIDEO] Unleash the Kraken - VEKTA.5 Class 1500 Unlimited Buggy
The Kraken VEKTA.5, or "KV5", is what Kraken claims to be the world's first "True Scale 4WD Motorsport Grade RC Vehicle", whatever that means. Regardless of what they say about it though, the following is true; it looks pretty damn awesome both on paper and on video.
The buggy comes with a full scale roll cage, aluminum solid rear axle and rear arms, as well as an all-metal center transmission and diff (including gears). It's built in a 4 link configuration with CVDs and an independent front suspension set-up, specifically for jumps and bashing. Also among the cursory list of features are something Kraken calls 'MegaShocks', which are ultra-beefy shocks that apparently go above and beyond the performance of the regular Big Bore shocks.
