How To Prep For Boom Racing ASIAN SCALE INVASION Recon G6 HK

To ensure you experience all of the activities during the event, we have a few suggestions for you to take note:

Know the Recon G6 Rules

Make sure you prepare the following items for the Asian Scale Invasion Recon G6. This is for the Sunday event.

Mandatory Items
- A minimum of 10 scale items.
- scale chopsticks attached to car.
- a scale first aid kit.
- a colorful pet rock. Bring to G Central for further instructions.

Not Mandatory, but Highly Recommended
- scale white lotus flower kept in or on rig.
- a 1 inch by 1 inch square piece of double sided tape.
- a scale book titled RECON G6 " An Asian Scale Invasion"

Be Early and Don’t Miss Out!

The event is packed with lots of exciting activities. The schedule is tight and all activities will start according to the event schedule. There can be traffic going in and out of the venue. So be early! Give yourself at least an hour early before the scheduled event that you will participate in. The Schedule of Events is posted below.

Have your lunch before coming to the event on Saturday. If you plan to drive or to take a taxi, traffic is a concern as the road to MX Club is one-lane dirt road. If you plan to drive, you might not be able to find a parking spot as space is very limited. There are only about 20 parking spaces available. Once the parking is full, you must find your own parking. You can try out the tracks if you arrive early.

Your Rig

Waterproof everything. There will be water obstacles. Make sure your rig is ready when its time for the event. There is no time for repairs during the event. When its your turn to go, you and your rig should be 100% ready. If you miss your turn, that's too bad... Come next year and we will have it ready for you again ;)

There will be style points. Make your rig look Boomtastic!

Weather

November is not a rainy season in Hong Kong. The weather will likely be around 16 to 23 degree Celsius. Unless there is a sudden change in temperature, T-shirts and shorts should be appropriate. The event venue is an outdoor area surrounded by mountains about the size of three football fields.

Food & Drinks

Bring lots of water, energy drinks and snacks to replenish yourself.

Catering will be available from 11am till 4pm on Nov 13 Sunday.

Storage

Please take care of your personal belongings. There will be a small storage area available for a fee. Do not leave valuables behind as we are not responsible to lost or stolen items. Please note that valuable and bulky items cannot be stored. You are given enough space to store a bag and a car. Overnight storage not allowed.

It is your responsibility to take care of your personal belongings during the event.

Battery

The Asian Scale Invasion Charging Station is power by G.T. Power. There will be a battery charging station for those who need to charge their lipos. Charging docks have limited space. Make sure you have the batteries ready before the scheduled events. Batteries will be charged on first-come-first-serve basis. Each person is allowed to charge one battery pack at a time.

There are lipo batteries available for sell at the venue.
