Double Victory for ATees at 2015 NorCal Turkey Shootout
Racing for turkey. Now that's something we can get behind. Our sponsored driver Daniel Brown was at the Norcal Hobbies Turkey Shootout and clinched a double victory in both ST and 2WD buggy classes. Daniel's cars were fully equipped with Boom Racing performance bearings, and SkyRC electronics and chargers we provided.
Daniel TQ'd 3 out of 4 qualifying rounds with an unfortunate DNF in the last round. Despite the DNF, Daniel positioned himself as TQ in both classes heading into the mains.
In the 2WD buggy main, he got a great start and by the second lap was able to break away from the field and dominate the main, maintaining a sizable gap throughout. In the Modified Stadium Truck category Daniel got a good start but was followed closely by local fast guy Peter Stein. At the half way point Daniel was able to break away from Stein and cruise to his second victory of the weekend.
We're happy to congratulate Daniel Brown on his stellar performance all around, and we're also happy to contribute to the ritual butchering of Thanksgiving birds. We'll hop-up for gravy.
