Can you tell us about yourself and how you got into the hobby?

Adam:

Hi, my name is Adam and together with my wonderful son Sebastian, we live in Germany. We have been developing our hobby for several years. In the beginning, these were budget models, more intended for fun. Over time, it was not enough and I also started looking for something for myself. My first model was the SCALE Desert Truck! I had a lot of experiences and fun with him, but it still wasn't it... My son and I love to walk and discover new places during our joint hikes, so it fell on an off-road vehicle! And that was IT!!! We quickly found a few models, but only models from Boom Racing allowed us to fall in love with this passion without borders. We love our field trips together!

What was the hardest thing about being a dad and what surprised you?

Adam:

Being a Dad? I was completely surprised by everything! I didn't realize that my whole life would turn upside down so suddenly! Hihi. I had no idea if I could handle everything. Still, those moments with my son .... even now, there is a twinkle in my eye when I recall the wonderful moments when we were learning to walk, play, ride a bike, first school ... How about this, I remember everyone, I know that together with my son we are the best and inseparable buddies!

What Boom Racing products do you have experience with? Share some insights about what you like about them.

Adam:

Your first product was BRX01 Toyota Land Cruiser. There was a time when I wanted my first super scale R/C model. My surprise with the quality of workmanship and details was huge! I was very happy to purchase this model. And the wheel went on... Soon after, I bought a BRX02 with a Land Rover DEFENDER D110 body because I love this body very much! Assembling this chassis and body was pure fun! And there was no shortage of your newest child, which is BRX02 SERIES 3 109, and once again, I was not disappointed in you. I am fascinated by the high quality and scale reproduction of your models.

What are your favorite R/C moments with your dad/children?

Adam:

My favorite moments, let's see. These are the moments when I see that my son is really happy as we go on a new trip taking our cars and being able to discover newer and newer places.

Who or what inspires you in the hobby?

Adam:

The inspiration for my Hobby has always been and will always be Scale cars. I love to see how the suspension works and how the whole car behaves off-road. I have a lot of fun building a car to scale and testing it in the field.

Do you have any tips or advice for others in the hobby?

Adam:

I don't have much experience myself yet, but I would definitely advise starting with simpler models and testing how we feel in a given R/C field—and just starting to jump into deep water.
