The CVD shaft is designed to be retractable for easy installation/removal without taking apart your gearbox. Without any additional parts, this CVD shaft will definitely fit into the stock differential cup of your 1/16 Mini E-Revo/Summit. Below is a video demonstrating how the shaft can be installed:
