Top 5 Upgrades For HPI E-Firestorm

The ready-to-run E-Firestorm Flux, HPI's first-ever brushless motor equipped 2WD 1/10th scale stadium truck, was better than ever! They've taken the proven platform and added a 2.4GHz radio system, a more powerful ESC/motor combination with 3S LiPo capability, waterproof electronics, new Split 5 chrome wheels and two fresh new paint jobs. The updated E-Firestorm Flux let all of us have loads of fun in wet conditions and has a top speed of over 80 km/h (50 mph) with on-command wheelies. How to turn it into a beast? We are going to need 5 upgrades only!

The first and the second upgrades we need for the car are the aluminum front knuckle arm and the aluminum rear bearing carriers. They can house larger and more common 11mm bearings, and these can take nearly twice the load as the smaller 10mm HPI went with. And since are aluminum upgrades, they are much stronger than the original ones. They also have better performance when it comes to weight distribution.

Another two upgrades we would like to recommend to you are the front bumper and rear bumper. Unlike some other stadium trucks, E-Firestorm is well-known for its great durability, strong power and hard to break. So upgrade them with both front and rear bumpers will allow the relevant parts to be balanced with each other even better, decreasing the chance of breaking off.

The last but not the least, the fifth upgrade we want to recommend you today is an electronic part – servo. A full metal servo is must for a racer that requires perfect performance. Different from the traditional servos, full metal servos will help to get rid of all your worries about the high temperature since the metal shell will allow the servo to dissipate heat faster, preventing the servo from overheating under high temperature. What's more, this design has made the servo stronger than ever.
