Top 8 Upgrades For Tamiya DT-03

DT-03 the Neo Fighter Buggy is mounted on the newly developed and easy to build monocoque DT-03 chassis platform. The longitudinally-placed rear motor, rear-wheel drive set-up and the long wheelbase design enables stable performance. The angle of the skid-shaped underside has been increased to raise the car's off-road potential. Combined all of the above, DT-03 already is a tough little car for the less experienced users. However, with the following upgrades, your DT-03 will become a real fighter buggy.

For any models, bearings play a very important role. With the right bearing, the overall performance will be enhanced and the running time will be increased at well. Getting the high performance full ball bearings set for your model should be listed as the first step of upgrading a car for everyone.

To improve a model's durability and flexibility, the second move is to change its stock parts into aluminum. For front steering blocks and servo mount, aluminum upgrades will help to soak impact and make sure parts stay at the right place. The lower arms (front & rear) for the DT-03 follows the same design of DT-02. The special design already helps the arm to handle more pressure. One way that is more effective is change them to aluminum directly, ensuring the arms will take some extra stress and move more freely. The above situation is also suitable when it comes to the front and rear shock towers.

Upgrades means it will not only help you with the durability, it will also provide you with more possibilities. Aluminum front castor block that TopCad made for the DT-03 will help to provide more angles for you to control. It will be never too close for you to turn before you hit the obstacle anymore.
