Begin by removing the front and rear driveshafts. Keep in mind that the driveshaft lengths will change after the transmission conversion due to the new location of the output shafts. Final driveshaft lengths will depend on your specific wheelbase.
If you're using stock Axial Wild Boar HD driveshafts, it’s recommended to purchase part number AXI31114 for adjustable length male/female ends.
If your SCX10 III is equipped with a dig or shift servo, unplug them as needed.
For Stealth X transmission installation, you may need to remove or raise the rear battery tray for proper clearance of the rear driveshaft. If you remove it, you can use the stock battery tray on the slider or relocate it to the front of the chassis.
Remove the stock transmission and save the mounting screws.
Attach the 3-gear transmission to the adapter using the provided M3x8mm flat head screws.
Mount the transmission/adapter assembly to the SCX10 III skid using the stock transmission screws.

It all started with a trail run. After watching David's TF2 hang up on every rock and root and blade of grass for 2 hours, Nick said, "Hey, I can fix that for you." A couple of weeks later, Nick gave David a prototype that he said he'd need back (David still hasn't given it back), and the N2R skid was born. All of our parts are developed in-house using sophisticated 3D scanning technology and CAD modelling. We choose materials that are both strong enough and flexible enough to withstand plenty of abuse. Most parts are printed using either selective laser sintering (SLS nylon) or carbon fiber-reinforced nylon filament.
