    I like the metal housings over the plastic is more durable. The problems I had was the springs are not identified with color coding and are much weaker than the stock springs. The biggest issue was you cannot use the stock springs either because the threading area on these housings are less than half that of the stock shock housings, and it is difficult to get the proper preload to get the truck up to ride height. This also greatly reduces the travel distance of the entire shock assembly.
