Tamiya 1/16 Scale Tanks Newest Kit
The Type 10 Japan Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF) Tank is the modern high tech defence system that was deployed in 2012. It is also available as a 1/35 scale model kit. The highly detailed look comes loaded wth a newly designed 120mm smooth bore main gun and modular armor. Despite the heavy look and general perception of the slow maneuverability of tanks, this was built with relatively small and lightweight material for the extra speed and adaptability for rough mountain terrains in Japan.
The battle system that incorporates infrared light and realistic sound are set up in the tanks for some tank-to-tank games. The Gun Fire Simulator unit and infrared LED unit can produce a wide range of sound effects and realistic actions.
Many of you probably know that Tamiya Kit does not include the electronics, so you would need a 4 channel radio system to play with this. Battery pack(NiMh or LiPo), charger, tools, 8 AA Batterires, glue and paint are also necessary to build this kit.
