Can you share the story behind the origins of the Boom Racing ProBuild customizable wheels? What inspired their creation? 

Ricky: As a car enthusiast, I’ve always liked the look of three-piece wheels and their versatility. This passion inspired the ProBuild wheel—a 1.9 beadlock wheel for RC crawlers that pushes customization beyond real-world wheels. By shrinking this concept, we created a wheel that’s not just functional but endlessly adaptable, giving RC enthusiasts unparalleled creative control. 

What were the initial ideas or challenges you aimed to address when designing the Probuild range?

Ricky: The initial idea was to design a wheel that offered more than just adjustable offsets through hub changes. I wanted to give users the ability to alter the wheel’s appearance with different dish designs, providing multiple style options beyond a single look.

How do you believe the Probuild wheels enhance or change the experience for hobbyists in the RC community?
