A Closer Look At The FlySky FS i10 Intelligent System

The first time FlySky presents their crowning achievement was about this time last year. The Flysky FS-i10 ten channels 2.4 GHz AFHDS 2A intelligent system, which is compatible with helicopter, fixed wing, glider and powered glide systems, reflects the passion of the designers from FlySky. After its first show up at an exhibition, i10 has been testing and adjusting the modules for a better version till now.

Why FlySky called it their first step into the high-end RC transmitter world? When i10 first came out, many of its specifications could not satisfy the high demands came from professional RC players, especially when it comes to durability. The original version i10 could only support less than one kilometer of flying. To solve this problem, the owner of FlySky, Andy Lau, bought over a dozen of planes and started adjusting the i10 himself. Just like every plane owners may crash their models, Andy crashed almost all the planes he bought. Finally after countless times of failures, the 2A version of i10 came out. Distance is not a problem anymore. With an i10, you can easily fly over one kilometer. FlySky now has upgraded it from AFHDS (short for automatic frequency hopping digital system) to AFHDS 2A version, a sophisticated radio transmission system, which will guarantee you a long range jamming free and life-long battery life experience.

This radio system works in the frequency range of 2.4055 to 2.475DHz. The band has been divided into 1420 independent channels. Each radio system uses 16 different channels and 160 different types of hopping algorithms. By using varies switch-on times, hopping scheme and channel frequencies, the system can guarantee a jamming free radio transmission.

This radio system uses a high gain and high quality multi directional antenna. It covers the whole frequency band. Associated with a high sensitivity receiver, this radio system guarantees a jamming free long range radio transmission. Each transmitter has a unique ID. When binding with a receiver, the receiver reserves the unique ID and only accepts data from the unique transmitter, preventing obtaining the wrong signal from another transmitter and insuring safety of your system.

Features:

  • Adopts the latest two-way communication systems, ensuring all of the FS brand receivers are compatible with this transmitter.
  • Home page menu can monitor i10 voltage, speed, temperature, voltage parameters, function conditions (on/off), model structure and timers in real time.
  • The flashing LED and 3D audio effect will alert the user when system exception occurs 3.55 inch, 240*400 pixels (WQVGA) color TFT-LCD touch screen, making the whole setting process easier than ever.
  • Eight switches and five knobs can be assigned to different functions for the most applications. The three knobs can be hidden by pressing them.
  • The transmitter can store 20 models, including model binding conditions. You can also save your model settings on a SD card.
  • Free software and upgrades to the system are available online.
